[Workers] No error checking for non-matching passwords in the edit window

Created: 13/Oct/09 02:37 PM   Updated: 25/Apr/10 10:52 AM
Fix Version/s: 5.0 RC1

Original Estimate: Unknown Remaining Estimate: Unknown Time Spent: Unknown
Environment: 4.3.1 new Helpdesk Setup, Workers tab.

 Description
Summary:
The new design has the (peek)-style window for worker editing and there does not appear to be a mechanism in place to prevent you from entering non-matching passwords. Your first entry seems to be the one that sticks and it doesn't matter what you pick for 'Password (again)'.

Steps:
1) In 'helpdesk setup', 'Workers' tab.
2) Add a new worker or edit an existing one.
3) Enter non-matching passwords in the two fields (or leave the second confirmation field blank).
4) Save changes.

Result:
Non-matching passwords still accepted.
