[Keyboard shortcuts] Reply (r) command does not work after setting an organization

Created: 16/Oct/09 12:54 PM   Updated: 16/Apr/10 03:13 PM
Fix Version/s: 5.0 RC1

Original Estimate: Unknown Remaining Estimate: Unknown Time Spent: Unknown

 Description
Summary:
Very peculiar and from what I can tell thankfully an isolated case. Tested in Firefox and Safari.

Steps:
1) Click into an existing ticket.
2) Click 'set organization' (or the address) to bring up the peek window.
3) You don't need to fill in anything just click Save Changes.
4) Press (r) on your keyboard to trigger the reply shortcut.

Result:
The Reply shortcut specifically does not work.

Note:
It does not appear to be a "focus" issue because clicking into the main window does not help. The only way to "reset things" is to click a button (or use another shortcut) to run a command.

Someone in the forums discovered this and was able to narrow it down to the description you see. I have verified that particular case and done some auxiliary testing and it appears it is only broken as described.

From a purely Q/A standpoint this one is tough to test in a comprehensive fashion, but I'll keep playing with it and report any additional details or related issues.

I think the issue is that the message refresh obliterates the 'first reply' ID on the <DIV>. jQuery could handle this much better -- should be fixed in a couple mins.
