Right now you can choice 1 action on a ticket To reopen the ticket at or after a certain date. It would be nice to replace that hard coded structure with a plug-in extend-able actions that would allow you to trigger any action on a certain date/time. So you could still do the open action as it is now but you could also close the ticket. Plug-ins could generate an email, etc. Giving even more flexibility to the tool kit.
