Prevent destructive behavior if mailparse.so not present

Created: 16/Dec/09 11:49 AM   Updated: 25/Apr/10 10:46 AM
Fix Version/s: 5.0 RC1

Original Estimate: Unknown Remaining Estimate: Unknown Time Spent: Unknown
Environment: Linux. Shared hosting. Limited control over/notification of upgrades, default libraries and path changes. My host's not-quite-happy PHP upgrade process has caused this problem several times causing a number of tickets to be discarded until I noticed and reset the paths.

 Description
If mailparse.so cannot be found, the mail accounts are checked (and cleared) anyway, but the messages are lost. Is it possible for POP3 / IMAP E-Mail Importing to test for mailparse.so before collecting/deleting mail from the mail server?

Except that I just found that you place them all nicely in the fail directory where they can indeed be recovered. Never mind. I don't see a way to delete this issue, or I would do so. Apologies...
