Summary:
Probably due to being in a transitional phase. I haven't been able to run an exhaustive test of all possible tokens, but it appears the following aren't being swapped (i.e. blanks instead of real values).
* Assignee
* Ticket custom fields
I'm using a limited set of tickets (< 10) in my whole desk and the snippets do properly swap when actually inserted into live tickets.

Ignore this one, I screwed up and didn't realize it pulled from closed or deleted tickets. That was the problem.
