It seems that "Move this conversation" doesn't actually do anything when you compose a new ticket via "Send mail"
If I need to create a ticket by mailing a customer, I click the "Send mail" link from the email tab. Then fill out the mail and leave it "Waiting for reply", then click on the dropdown for "Move this conversation" and pick a bucket.
After sending the mail, I click on "View this message" and the ticket is assigned to Inbox instead of the bucket I chose.

Steps:
1) Click "send mail"
2) Fill out details
3) In the 'next' section choose a different group/bucket to move the conversation
4) Send the mail out and view the message
Result:
The message will not be moved. It stays in the inbox of the group you used as the 'from'.

I fixed this in the last release.

Verified fixed as of dev build 812.
Was able to move the message into a specific bucket in a group of my choosing, despite what the "From" group at the top is set to.
