I know that for many techies, HTML email is considered "irrelevant", with a common argument against formatted email being either that it is "not part of the email standards" or that there are client compatibility issues.
However, consider the business case for formatted email:
A complex message may require greater structure than plain text allows. I frequently have to break up a message into sections with larger headings, 2 levels of headings etc.
Additionally, in complex conversations, I frequently use colours to separate out conversation flows (e.g. "Hi Fred, see my comments in red")
Finally, from a brand reinforcement point of view, company logos and colour schemes are essential.
So, I hope this helps take the issue from wishlist to build

My company has been using Helpdesk - Cerberus for a long time now. Today we are thinking on upgrading to 4 release and one of our prior enhancements we are looking is HTML emails on a ticket.
With this we could add tables, pictures, graphics, company's logo in the signature, etc.
Hope this feature would be supported soon.
Upvoted, although FWIW, I only think the *display* of HTML email/attachments is relevant. I'm happy enough to send plaintext emails for now, but we often get HTML email in from customers that contain interleaved images and text. Linking up a plaintext rendering of the HTML with the various images is *not* fun.
Mails that we receive in Cerb4 will be very often with the great number of screenshots from our applications. As they are removed to attachment, during support efforts sometimes it is necessary to see original message in html format to be able to understand problem in complete. As all pictures and formating are removed from original_message.html, it is making connecting text with screenshots almost impossible.
This would be great feature and we hope to have it soon.
Best regards
Ivan
customers send screenshots bound into the text of html email. it is impossible to read inline text/pictures, when pictures are all taken out and listed below out of context.
pictures should really be inline and shown in html view.
